"These folks are the absoulte bomb I delt with a couple different people that were helping each other work the deal but every one and I mean everyone was down to earth no bs. " We had been thinking about buying a bagger this year. The 03' Softtail we have is a beautiful bike but kinda hard on Momma after a long day riding. When we take off for a ride we generally put some mile in. I had been looking at every dealer within a 150 mile radius of home, made a few calls, and had been to a few looking around but just wasn't finding anything that did it for me. I saw a pretty nice bike on your website that did catch my eye but we live a pretty good ways from Columbia and I doubted the bike would be there if we drove down. As it turned out that weekend we had to take a weekend road trip to Knoxville and decided to drop in on the folks at HD Columbia on the way. When we walked in the door we were greeted by the man at the front door and asked if there was anything he could do for us. I told him about the bike I had seen and he called Rob Ruzicka over to talk to us. I repeated the story to Rob and he said the bike sold that morning but said he had an idea of what we were thinking about and asked if I would like to look at a bike he had that was a little nicer than the one I saw on the web at about the same price. I thought yeah sure but decided to look at it anyway. We walked back in the used bike showroom and he pushed it out and I started looking at the options it had on it and thought there ain't no way!! I started adding things up and Rob started pointing things out. I finally asked how much and was very surprised when he told me. It was within the range we had been talking about. It was a little chilly out and I was dressed for a car trip but I took it for a spin and was in love! I told him we had business in K'town the next day and I would have to think about it and off we went. We talked about it on the drive and finally decided that if we bought another bike and put the options on it we wanted we would be basically creating the same bike so we decided to go for it! Now we knew that we hadn't put any hold money on it and we were taking a chance, but if it was meant to be the bike would be there when we made it back to Columbia the next day. Things in Knoxville took a lot longer than we had planned and it was late when we got back. Rob saw us come in the door, came over and greeted us, said the bike was still there and asked what we thought. I told him I wanted to look at it one more time and we headed that way. As we walked in the door another guy was standing there looking at the bike. I about died..lol His salesman asked him what he thought of it and he said he really liked it. I looked at Rob and he looked at me and I told him I wanted it. He headed for the sales office and I walked over to the customer lounge where my wife was. A minute later Rob and the other salesman came out of the office and he told the other customer the bike had already sold. He shrugged his shoulders and said they had several more that he liked and away they went. I hope he bought one there. They did have a lot of very nice bikes. Well we did the paperwork. Spent more time talking about life with Rob than anything. It was too cold and too late to ride it home that night so we drove back down the following Friday and got it. We spent a lot more time talking to Rob about bikes, life, and his new grandbaby that was due soon. If you have had the pleasure of meeting him you would never believe he is now a grandpa. I know that he is because Rob wasn't just our salesman, he is now a friend and we keep in contact by phone, text and social media. I can say we had a great experience with HD Columbia and Rob and look forward to riding our Glide back down to see him/them as soon as weather permits. Thanks guys and gals for a great experience!! "December 12, 2012 Dear Columbia Harley Davidson, First off let me state that In my 40 plus years of life, I can count on one hand the number of times I have made the effort to go beyond a simple verbal thank you for exemplary service and express my gratitude in a letter. I can’t remember the last time. I was traveling through Tennessee during the first week of December and taking advantage of the warm weather and the beautiful Tennessee scenery. My destination happened to be Columbia, so naturally I stopped in to check out the shop. By the way, I am still trying very hard to get my brother to purchase from the used Road King inventory, as there are many bikes that fit his parameters, but I alas, digress on that tangent topic. Anyway . . . . Upon leaving Columbia, a few days later, to head back to Virginia I had my rear tire go out on me. I called Columbia HD from the side of the road, as I was not far. Lenny came and got me off the side of the road and took me back to the shop. Not having a lot of miles under me, Lenny gave me some great information during the ride back. Thank you Lenny, I appreciate all of your insightfulness!! After we got back to the shop Ronnie and the rest of the service team took such great care of me that I felt as though I was their only customer for that day and a half that it took to get my bike right. While there it became obvious that I was going to miss my good weather window, so Robin was also of great assistance in helping me with a rain suit and gloves for myself and gift boots for my nephew. Thank you Robin!! My nephew got to use his new boots a couple days after I got back, and he loves them! Rob in sales gave me the used inventory tour and answered all my questions as I relayed the deals to my brother. Thanks Rob!! Still working on him to buy before the end of the year. I realize that service departments have other customers and plenty to do, but it seemed as though I was given priority. Having never been broken down on the road, all I have as a reference are the stories that I have heard from other riders. Well, this is a story of such superior service that I will repeat it whenever the opportunity arises. Whomever the owner of Columbia Harley Davidson is, they are extremely fortunate to have an exceptional crew working for them. "I was searching CycleTrader looking for a Scarlet Red Street Glide when I came across Harley Davidson of Columbia. They had a 2010 model that was exactly what I was looking for. At the show room,Rob the salesman, met us at the door and I discussed the model I had seen on-line. He showed me to it. Right beside the model I was looking at was a 2010 in Red Hot Sunglo with substantially less mileage and more accessories already installed for marginally more money. It was a no-brainer, I swapped to that model. Rob was very helpful and informative and not at all pushy with either steering me to a more expesnsive model from what I was originally looking for or what accessories to purchase. He made me feel like a friend versus a clent throughout the whole purchase. He is the type salesman everyone would like to deal with. The only subtractor from the whole exerience was the salesmanager who came off as a gruff non-customer friendly person. That may be a misconception, but it was perception both I and my girlfriend both had. Overall, though Rob was great, Steve in parts was very helpful, and the purchase has been excellent. As a swith from sport bikes and one week into ownership and 1500 miles later, I really like my first HD."

"My husband and I were kinda just looking around for a couple of Harleys. We went to another dealership a few miles further up the road from where we live. Well lets just say that the one to the North of us was way to expensive. When we were on our way back home, I suggested that we drop in at the Columbia Harley Davidson dealer and just check it out. "Last August I stopped by HD Columbia looking to purchase a Bike after 15 years of exile from the sport. Unassured if I would like a cruiser or touring style motorcycle. My experience was strictly aboard sport bikes 15 years ago. Rob approached me after several minutes of me wondering around looking lost. I explained that I was wanting to come back in the sport but was weary of purchasing a 15-19K dollar cruiser or touring bike. Rob showed me many different bikes from sporsters to full touring. I wore him out with question he never left my side. After many discussions I had decided on a softtail, Rob had me preapproved in minutes. I guess he sensed my still weariness and I qoute " John go home tonight sleep on it come back tomorrow only if you are comfortable with your choice". Well the next morning I returned convinced I knew what I wanted. Wrong!!! My wife had came along and as Rob and I was getting the paperwork started my wife said honey look at this bike: it was a Yamaha Roadstar for half the price of the Harley I was fixing to purchase. Rob came over and quickly said it's metric ( BIG SIN) in the Harley World I soon found out!! But Rob told me he would rather sell me that Metric than me buy a expensive HD if I was unassured I was going to enjoy the sport again. I bought the Yamaha, Rob made all the changes to the paper work and off I went. Very Pleased, I know he had lost commission but he never once pressured me. It's been 8 months and I have stopped by numerous times at HD Columbia, Rob meets me every time chats with and answers all my silly questions. Today I just purchased my first HD Road Glide. Rob that was all you MAN!!! Rob spent many hours over the last 8 months educating me on HD's. I could have not purchased a better Motorcycle. It lives up to everything Rob has told me. The exact ride I was looking for!!! I know there is several salesman there but Rob is the one I would recommend to anyone wanting to buy a Bike. It's not the money he is concerned about it's the sport. I would also like to commend Robbie terrific woman she can suit you up nicely and not get into your wallet to deep and the service department was excellent. If you really want that family feeling and no pressure buying you need to get your Butt down to HD-Columbia, TN."

"I'm on a Final Road Trip before I get deployed to the middle east. I've been stopping at as many Harley dealerships as i can on my way, which is not so uncommon, just to see different stores, bikes, etc. At every store thus far, the employees and dealers have been friendly and welcoming and I've chatted with many of them and gone on my way, until this store. I walked in after driving some distance, and when I informed the dealer i was just looking around and picking up a poker chip, he said they didn't have any. Now, I'd heard before that not every dealership does it, so i wasn't surprised. What did upset me was the employee's demeanor and condescending attitude, as if I'd come in and had wasted his time. He began to inform that they "Were in it for the big bucks, not the little things." His whole attitude just made me angry and I ended up not wanting anything at all. I'm not naive as to think that Harley isn't a business, but people also buy the bikes for the experiences that go along with it, on and off the road. So, I'm sorry that I was wasting your time pulling over to visit. I know I was keeping you from "making the big bucks" being as I was the only customer at the time. I'll be sure to just keep driving past next time I travel through."

"I Actually bought my Bike a 2004 FXDI from Boswells. I needed rear peg mounts which are really hard to come by. I called Boswells, and their service Dept told me they were obsolete. I got hooked up with Ronnie at your store, and he got them for me, both sides. I also wanted a sundowner deep bucket with a 12 inch passenger seat. Same thing again everyone told me they didnt make them for Dyna. Ronnie had me one in two days. I am needing a quick detach windshield next, and I will be coming to Columbia to see Ronnie again. "My wife & I had a GoldWing for a while. When we sold it, we decided to look at Harleys because I had always wanted one. A friend told us about HD Columbia. I searched the inventory online and found some bikes I was interested. We drove to HD columbia one Saturday morning only to look. When we walked through the doors, we were met by Jon "Bubbie" Andre and were immediately impressed. He gave us his card, told us to look around and that he would check on us later because he didn't like to "hover". My wife really appreciated this as it gave us time to browse and talk between us two. In about fifteen minutes, Bubbie came over and asked if we had found anything or had any questions. We indeed had found the bikes that were online. Bubbie took us to each bike we liked, cranked each one and answered all questions that we asked about them. After deciding on a used 2006 HD Ultra Glide (Firefighter Edition), we sat down with Bubbie and gave him the necessary information to run credit/figures. He told us it would be a few minutes due to the volumn of customers in the store that morning. He then proceeded to direct us to nearby restaurants and allowed us time to go eat and again discuss our option in private. He told us he would call when he had some idea about what we were looking at finance wise. He did just that. After we finished our meal, we went back to the store and were again immediately met by Bubbie who by this time we considered "our" guy. He took us to the finance office where we were left in the great hands of Bill Isom. Bill was not only very effecient but was extremely friendly. He got us in and out with no trouble and once again all question were answered. Upon leaving the finance office, Bubbie met us to see if we had any further concerns and to tell us to pick out T-shirts and put them on his account. We weren't able to take the bike that Saturday due to inclement weather but told him we would be back on Sunday to get it. He said he would have it detailed, gased and waiting. When we returned on Sunday, we felt like we were returning home. Smiles and hellos from everyone in the store! Bubbie was true to his word and before we left, he took me outside and went over every detail about my bike. I rode home a very happy and satisfied man. My wife is telling everyone we know that if you're looking for a bike, new or used, HD Columbia is the place to go. She says to ask for "Bubbie". Thanks for everything HD Columbia!!!!!!! "
