Today I came in to get a tire for my 1996 Fatboy, I was greated by the sale person that should be the sales man of the year!! "Well, another Bike in the Tyner Family. I am kinda short (barely 5 feet) and have sat on a lot of bikes and none seemed to fit me until I sat on a superlow sportster, look I can touch the floor-woo hoo !!! So, we played the dare game and stopped at our favorite place the HD in Columbia, look, there is a pretty one...sat on it and then kept going back and sitting on it. Rob our friend and salesman made me look good on it....gave me confidence that I could ride the HD ( I had a scooter & rebel) so off we went to the principals office and out we came with a very cool bike for ME !!!!!...we love our HD Trike but I love my sportster too and it is sitting in the middle of the living room, too big for under the tree but what a great Christmas present. We adore Ricky-Bill-Robbie and Rob and all the wonderful folks at HD in Columbia. "my purchase started when i was looking at cycletrader.com i found a 2007 ultra classic in the very color that i wanted, i had looked at another 2007 in the same color at another dealer and they wanted 5000.00 more than harley davidson of columbia for the exact same bike theirs had more miles i called h-d of columbia and talked to bud murphy we got everything set up for me to come pick it up the following day which was on a sunday. i drove 5 hours to the dealership when we got there bud made us feel like we had known him for years, he went over everything on the bike...it was a great experience. i have bought many many cars and a few bikes but have never been treated as good as i was that day at this dealer, thanks guys! and if i ever need another one i will make the journey back over to see ya'll again!"

"I'm on a Final Road Trip before I get deployed to the middle east. I've been stopping at as many Harley dealerships as i can on my way, which is not so uncommon, just to see different stores, bikes, etc. At every store thus far, the employees and dealers have been friendly and welcoming and I've chatted with many of them and gone on my way, until this store. I walked in after driving some distance, and when I informed the dealer i was just looking around and picking up a poker chip, he said they didn't have any. Now, I'd heard before that not every dealership does it, so i wasn't surprised. What did upset me was the employee's demeanor and condescending attitude, as if I'd come in and had wasted his time. He began to inform that they "Were in it for the big bucks, not the little things." His whole attitude just made me angry and I ended up not wanting anything at all. I'm not naive as to think that Harley isn't a business, but people also buy the bikes for the experiences that go along with it, on and off the road. So, I'm sorry that I was wasting your time pulling over to visit. I know I was keeping you from "making the big bucks" being as I was the only customer at the time. I'll be sure to just keep driving past next time I travel through."

I purchased a 2011 Ultra Classic Last Sunday(traded in a 2007 Road Glide). I have had some really bad experiences with other dealers , but Rob, Bill, Ronnie and the crew at Columbia made this purchase the easiest by far.
I have never had any salesman or finance managers actually sit down and want you to know whats going on or what your signing, to most thats common sense, but we all know how "common" common sense is these days!
I have clocked 500 miles on my Ultra since last Sunday and I do not regret my purchase from Harley davidson of Columbia one bit.

"I Actually bought my Bike a 2004 FXDI from Boswells. I needed rear peg mounts which are really hard to come by. I called Boswells, and their service Dept told me they were obsolete. I got hooked up with Ronnie at your store, and he got them for me, both sides. I also wanted a sundowner deep bucket with a 12 inch passenger seat. Same thing again everyone told me they didnt make them for Dyna. Ronnie had me one in two days. I am needing a quick detach windshield next, and I will be coming to Columbia to see Ronnie again. It is well worth the drive, to have someone who wants tohelp you out. I also want to say that the sales guys dont bother me, they let you shop, and if you ask they are more than glad to help out. "If you are looking to buy a Harley then Rob is the man. I hate the dealership BS that I got at other dealers who tried very hard to hide the additional charges associated with purchasing a new Harley and also wanted to over charge for things like the Prep Fee by about $500.00 and had the mysterious DOC Fee. It was like being in a car dealership with all of the games that they played. Rob shot me a straight out the door price via email that made sense with nothing hidden. If you are thinking of buying a Harley and don't like games or being overcharged then contact Rob and you will have a great experience that you can brag about to your friends who didn't go to Columbia. "My wife & I had a GoldWing for a while. When we sold it, we decided to look at Harleys because I had always wanted one. A friend told us about HD Columbia. I searched the inventory online and found some bikes I was interested. We drove to HD columbia one Saturday morning only to look. When we walked through the doors, we were met by Jon "Bubbie" Andre and were immediately impressed. He gave us his card, told us to look around and that he would check on us later because he didn't like to "hover". My wife really appreciated this as it gave us time to browse and talk between us two. In about fifteen minutes, Bubbie came over and asked if we had found anything or had any questions. We indeed had found the bikes that were online. Bubbie took us to each bike we liked, cranked each one and answered all questions that we asked about them. After deciding on a used 2006 HD Ultra Glide (Firefighter Edition), we sat down with Bubbie and gave him the necessary information to run credit/figures. He told us it would be a few minutes due to the volumn of customers in the store that morning. He then proceeded to direct us to nearby restaurants and allowed us time to go eat and again discuss our option in private. He told us he would call when he had some idea about what we were looking at finance wise. He did just that. After we finished our meal, we went back to the store and were again immediately met by Bubbie who by this time we considered "our" guy. He took us to the finance office where we were left in the great hands of Bill Isom. Bill was not only very effecient but was extremely friendly. He got us in and out with no trouble and once again all question were answered. Upon leaving the finance office, Bubbie met us to see if we had any further concerns and to tell us to pick out T-shirts and put them on his account. We weren't able to take the bike that Saturday due to inclement weather but told him we would be back on Sunday to get it. He said he would have it detailed, gased and waiting. When we returned on Sunday, we felt like we were returning home. Smiles and hellos from everyone in the store! Bubbie was true to his word and before we left, he took me outside and went over every detail about my bike. I rode home a very happy and satisfied man. My wife is telling everyone we know that if you're looking for a bike, new or used, HD Columbia is the place to go. She says to ask for "Bubbie". Thanks for everything HD Columbia!!!!!!! "

"Everyone there was great including Bud Murphy. Bud also did a good job going over the operation of the bike and loading it. I am moving up to a bigger bike and I ride my bike instead of trailering it so wasn't familiar with securing it.
Only concerns were the large added fee and it took forever for me to get the glue off the mirror from the insurance sticker. Other than that, everyone was friendly, attentive, and I would recommend your dealership.
I do need a Columbia, TN, HD shot glass and forgot to pick one up. I collect them and have over 200 from places I have been. Would be willing to pay for shipping if someone could send me one. "

"After 2 years of wanting a Harley and then 2 weeks of deciding exactly which model, I purchased my first Harley here in 2005, an '05 Heritage Classic and loved riding it. I purchased all of my accessories and had it serviced here. When I decided to upgrade I came back and just bought a 2010 Ultra Classic. Jon Andre was great. What happens when you drive 1000 miles round trip to buy a used Ultra only to ride a few miles and land in the shop with mechanical issues? Expect a fight? File a BBB complaint? Curse and kick the dog? Or that the dealer takes the used Ultra back with full trade in value, gives you a great deal on a 2011 Ultra Limited and then buys you dinner!?!
Bill Isom and his team at Columbia H-D absolutely understand what customer service really means. Upon hearing that we were having issues, Bill contacts me very quickly with a straight forward, more than fair deal! My wife commented "Are all Harley dealers this friendly and service oriented?" Sadly, no, but I give double thumbs up to these guys. Personal service, quick response, fair deals, NO BS, just damn good folks. Yes, they are a business not a charity, but a business that knows how to deal with customer issues, actually cares about customer satisfaction, and treat folks like they want to be treated. That is integrity and it is refreshing to see a dealer do the right thing not what they had the right to do. One thousand miles is not too far to go for this type of service.

"I had been by the dealership several times as a place to ride and hang out and see what is new or to get a T shirt. I always notice the large selection of bikes, anything that you could want. I also get asked if I need help with anything, and I reply just Looking. Untill recently I looked at an Ultra Classic Screaming eagle that I could not stop looking at. I got great help from Bubie (Jon) that answered my questions promptly and if he did not know he found out the answer quickly. He was not pushy, gave me great service and during my purchase of this bike kept me informed on the progress of everything. Got me into service for some additional work so fast that they were finished as quick as Bill was with the paper work. I was very impressed with the whole experience. Great job Jon (Bubie)"

"I have bought three bikes from Bud Murphy. One at cool springs when he was up there and two from the dealer in Nashville when he was there. When I went back to Nashville to do some trading "that" dealer in Nashville told me that Bud had moved to Texas and wasn't there anymore. Well imagine my surprise when I walked in last week and there was Bud. I asked him when he moved back and of course he had no idea what I was talking about. LOL!!! That showed me the integrity of the OTHER dealer. Bud is the best guy I've dealt with on bikes and when it comes time for that next FLHTCU you can bet your bottom dollar it will be from Bud who is now in Columbia H-D. "

"I just bought my third harley (2009 Ultra) and my first from Columbia Harley. It was a great experience. No pressure what so ever when you walk in. However, when I decided I was ready to move the next level of purchasing a bike, they were there to answer questions and provide information. Very laid back approach, which I like, but you knew they were interested in helping you and made you feel important. I have recommended them to others and hope to one day buy another bike from them. "I visited HD of Columbia on 4/20/09. Phil one of the sales persons and I talked about the new building . I told him it looked great, he ask if I was looking for a new bike, I said I was and told him what I wanted.I did not see one on the floor. He went and found a flashlight and took my wife and I into the back and looked at a new 09 Ultra Classic in the box. He said they would have it on the floor by the 25th . I went back that Saturday and traded for the 09 Ultra. I have bought and traded motorcycles over the last 30 years I never had a better experience. "

"OMG, What can I say that hasn't already been said. My husband and I traveled from Frankfort KY to Columbia one Saturday looking to find a new 2009 Tri-Glide. And there it was, a red one... Well, as much as Terry and Neil tried giving me a good deal on the red one, I had my heart set on a black one and about 3 weeks later, I was back in Columbia bringing my new Black Tri-Glide home to Kentucky. Everyone was wonderful, did most of the transactions electronically, it was a great experience. Will be riding down to visit this summer for sure."

"I bought my brand new XL1200 Low Sportster from Terry at the dealership. It was "THE BEST TREATMENT" I have ever received from any HD dealership. I will not buy anywhere else because I got a deal and there were no games, no haggling, just, "What will get it out the door?" and I got in my car and drove from Huntsville, AL to Columbia, TN and I was not let down. The deal was made from the telephone and when I got to Columbia, there were no surprises, it was just what I was told prior to driving up there.
