Harley-Davidson of Columbia Superstore - it is about the bikes and the people, after all

 You see, here's the deal about the New Harley-Davidson of Columbia Superstore.

We Opened in January of 2009 in the middle of this crazy economic situation where Circuit City closes down, General Motors is owned by the government, and banks don't loan money anymore....they only accept government aid. Yet we opened ON January 16, 2009 halfway between Nashville TN and Huntsville AL in a 40,000 Square Foot Harley-Davidson dealership where business has been phenonimally great during that same time..(just braggin', but we sale ALOT of pre-owned Harley-Davidsons)

       H-D of Columbia opened their doors and since that time has had a GIANT Grand Opening Party featuring Country Superstars Montgomery Gentry for a FREE concert (bet you haven't been to a lot of FREE Montgomery Gentry concerts lately?). We then had a charity ride and concert where we helped raise over $50,000 for the T.J. Martell Foundation and held yet another concert featuring country Superstars like Little Big Town, Martina McBride and Jamey Johnson. Once again, I'm sure this is not as "flashy" as some H-D stores, but not bad. Then we came back this month with ANOTHER concert by Jason Micheal Carroll, not some run-of-the-mill-bar-band, but a genuine Country Superstar.

The great location with the central location on I-65 at Exit 46. The 40,000 square foot building with on average over $4,000,000 worth of motorcycles on display and available for purchase. The building being built with stone that was mined from the building site and lighted both inside and outside by natural light brought in from 4 skylights the size of swimming pools and almost 5000 square feet of glass. An unbeliveably helpful staff that are available 7 days a week to fufill your every Harley-Davidson need. You know, all of the basics.

Back inside the building, the millions of dollars of motorcycles are on display among a 12,000 square foot showroom floor anchored by a 40 foot long, 15 foot high ramp made of re-claimed wood. This ramp both highlights what this showroom will be all about.

Our Dealership interior was designed by a firm (See all of the images at the bottom of this page to see the architectural renderings of the finished product) The reason were are using the existing fixturing is because of costs. It cost A LOT on money to fixture an all new dealership floor, and in these difficult economic times we thought it more prudent to open the dealership and get it up and running profitably with our existing stuff. WE may be wrong, but in tough times we didn't think we would sale enough additonal t-shirts, grips, sissy bars or leather jackets to justify the additional costs of new fixtures.....at this time.

We understand that the Harley-Davidson Motorcycle dealership part is unique to everyone. We were just trying to get a H-D dealership open in a CRAZY economic time.

What we did is get it open, though many months overdue, and focused on New and Used Harley-Davidson Motorcycles, Parts, Accessories and Clothing. What we hope you know is that those items you don't see may or may not make it a "Superstore" in your eyes, but FedEx and UPS run daily so if you come into the store and don't see something that you want, let us know and we'll try to get it for you ASAP.
